This is the third book in the Land of Stories. Alex is in the Fairy Tale world training to be a fairy and Conner is blossoming as a writer in school. When Conner goes on a school trip to Germany to listen newly discovered Brother Grimm stories, he is surprised when the last story sounds more like a warning about an invading army.
Oh this book definitely stepped up its game. There was little to no showing rather than telling. We were learning with the characters rather than having everything explained to them by so many other characters.
I also liked seeing the twins being separated. We got to see more of Conner and Alex's individual personality. We are seeing how the characters are growing up and become Conner and Alex rather than just the Bailey twins.
I also really love the new villain that we were introduced to, I hope that he will be the ultimate villain of the series.
I give this book a B+
I devour worlds with each new book. I am making up for lost time as a late bloomer of the reading world.
