Satoru Fujinuma has a strange ability. He can go back in time for small intervals at a time. But after the death of his mother he travels all the way back to his elementary school days. He hopes that by saving the lives of murdered classmates, he can alter the future enough to save this mother.
I enjoyed the premise of this manga. I loved the time traveling aspect. Satoru is trying to alter the future by trying to save his classmates. He doesn't have many memories from that time period and his mother never really talked to him about it.
While I liked the story and the mystery element I wasn't a huge fan of the art style. I also had a tough time getting into the story. The first third of the book took its time establishing the world. I was hoping that the story was a little more fast paced.
I give this book a B-.
I devour worlds with each new book. I am making up for lost time as a late bloomer of the reading world.
