Cam works for a witch. She is in charge of puppy watching a young werewolf and remembering to feed the pet dragon. She isn't looking to become a witch herself no matter how much her boss wants her to become one.
I thought this was a fluffy, entertaining book but there wasn't enough witchiness.
While Cam didn't have to go around collecting strange ingredients for potions and the was a heavy dose of magical realism in this book, I still wanted more.
This is a shorter book at only 208 pages but I felt like there should have been of an impact. There were a few scenes that felt forced or out of place that wasn't really needed to propel this story.
But overall I did enjoy it and found it entertaining. I gave this book a B.
I devour worlds with each new book. I am making up for lost time as a late bloomer of the reading world.
