This is a debut novel that focuses on a startup company. This book pokes fun of startup cultures, millennials, and social media.
This book had so much promise, it was funny and talked about some serious topics. It talked about the millennial workspace, relationships, lack of POC in tech, and sexual harassment. This book was told through multiple POVs, the CEO of the company, a female writer at a buzzfeed like company, and a stay at home mother starting to work at the young start up.
There were so many distinct voices and characters but the book just ends so suddenly. I felt that this book should have had another 50 pages or so.
I give this book a C+
I devour worlds with each new book. I am making up for lost time as a late bloomer of the reading world.
