The Christmas Carol isn’t just a famous story, it is also a giant company. Each year a Scrooge is selected and the ghost try to get them to see the error of their ways. Holly Chase didn’t believe in all that nonsense until she found herself to be the new Ghost of Christmas Past.
This book was absolutely hilarious. I loved how unlikable Holly was from the very beginning. She was so selfish and self absorbed and a true Scrooge.
We follow her for a whole year in this book as they try to gather information on this year’s Scrooge and young, good-looking boy. Hand does an amazing job of writing humor and witty dialogue into her books.
This was an absolute joy to read and a great Christmas book.
I gave this book an A.
I devour worlds with each new book. I am making up for lost time as a late bloomer of the reading world.
