I want to give a big shout out to Sky Pony Press for sending me the finished copy of this book.
I highly recommend this book for Halloween read or for anyone who is a big fan of scary movies.
This book reminded me of the slasher/scary teen movies of the 80s and 90s. There were some truly eerie moments and a good handful of cringeworthy ones.
My favorite part was the mystery. The characters went through a bunch to try to find who is kidnapping and killing their classmates. That kept me on the edge of my seat.
My only complaint was the romance. The love story felt a bit forced and just unnecessary at times.
While I found this book entertaining, it didn't blow me away. So I give this book a C.
I devour worlds with each new book. I am making up for lost time as a late bloomer of the reading world.
