This is the sequel to Hyperion. A group of pilgrims try to travel to an ancient shrine in order to have a wish granted.
I really enjoyed how different this book felt from the first one. The first book was a detailed history into all the pilgrim’s life.
This book felt more plot driven. I actually listened to this audiobook and I am not sure if that was the best idea. There was so much detail information that was thrown into this book about the politics, planets and characters, it was very hard to keep everything on track.
This was the type of book that needs to have your undivided attention. I wish I took notes while reading this.
My favorite aspect of this book was their ability to bring back the dead’s minds. I loved their version of AI and cloning.
I gave this book a C.
I devour worlds with each new book. I am making up for lost time as a late bloomer of the reading world.
