This is the final installment in the Tao series.
This book takes place a decade and some change later. I am not sure how to write this review without going into spoilers.
So while this book follows the same character it does feel very different than the previous two installment. Tao and Roen are no longer as close as they once were because Tao has a new host. Their dynamic that I once loved is no longer there.
Tao and his new host have a very different bond.
And while the Prophus and Genjix are still fighting their battle is now out in the open. Both fractions of this alien race now have a common enemy in humans.
This was an interesting conclusion to the series but overall it wasn’t my favorite book.
I gave this book a C.
I devour worlds with each new book. I am making up for lost time as a late bloomer of the reading world.
