This is the third book in the Finishing School series.
Sophronia is in her second year at the finishing school. She is learning new weapons and finally master her curtsy. But when one of her friends get some bad news, Sophronia drops everything to help the girl reach her family.
This is pretty much the steampunk Victorian spy roadtrip I have always wanted.
I loved how this book expanded on why a person would want to align with vampires or werewolves. We are starting to see what the characters want for their futures outside of school and more alliances are being formed.
This really made Sophronia hyper aware of her friends. She starts to realize that her training made her a great spy but maybe too critical of those around her. She doesn't know if she should trust those skills or the people she surrounds herself with.
I thought this was a great installment. I have loved this series so much and I can't wait to see how the author wraps everything up.
I give this book a B+
I devour worlds with each new book. I am making up for lost time as a late bloomer of the reading world.
